This Saturday (4), the Brazilian found the net in stoppage time of the second half in the match against Liverpool, giving Chelsea an important victory in London.
The decisive performance from the forward, who came off the bench in the second half, left not only the fans at Stamford Bridge ecstatic.
Social media in Brazil also buzzed (a lot) about Estêvão’s goal.
At 18 years and 163 days old, he became the youngest Brazilian to score a winning goal in the Premier League.
And there were even people “retiring” a provocative nickname from his Palmeiras days.
Curiously, his first goal as a professional was also against Liverpool—Liverpool of Uruguay, in a Libertadores match.
