The Bananas Ball World Tour has been a tough ticket. The Philadelphia two-game set, which concludes Sunday July 27, has been sold out for months, with the tickets going to lucky lottery winners.
If you were one of the many unlucky ones and are now waiting to the last minute for secondary market prices to drop, you better act quick because Stubhub reports less than 2% of the Citizens Bank Park seating is available.
As of Sunday morning, the cheapest ticket is $61 for standing room. The top price is over $500 for second row behind the third-base dugout.
First pitch is 3:30 p.m. as the Savannah Bananas take on the Texas Tailgaters.
Who are the Savannah Bananas?
The internet-famous Savannah Bananas are a baseball team based out of Georgia who are known for their in-game entertainment. Members have engaged in antics such as playing a game in kilts and having someone play on stilts.
First gaining their popularity online, the team has gained more than 8 million followers on TikTok, making them more followed than every Major League Baseball, team.
With their own version of baseball called “Banana Ball,” the game is face-paced and action-packed. Rules include a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of tied games.
