The 2025 ALL-USA Football Team Watchlist was updated during the midpoint of the high school season.
2027 Tennessee legacy target Cooper Witten was recognized on the watch list. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker is from Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas.
Witten is a five-star and ranked as the No. 1 linebacker nationally in the 247Sports Composite. He is not committed to a school. The Vols offered him a scholarship on Aug. 24, 2024.
Witten unofficially visited Tennessee for a football game versus Florida on Oct. 12, 2024 and Big Orange BBQ on May 31.
He is the son of former Tennessee tight end Jason Witten. Jason Witten played for the Vols from 2000-02, while also playing 17 seasons in the National Football League for Dallas and the Raiders.
He was a NFL draft third-round pick in 2003 and was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2019.
The final ALL-USA Football Team will be unveiled in December, along with regional teams. The entire 2025 ALL-USA Football Team Watchlist can be viewed here.
