Emirates has unveiled its largest international lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. The airline has invested $6.2 million (€5.7 million) in creating an exclusive, high-end facility at the newly opened Satellite 1 Terminal (SAT-1).
Covering 1,454 square metres, the lounge has the capacity to accommodate up to 250 guests, making it the largest Emirates facility outside of Dubai. It offers a seamless experience for First and Business Class passengers, along with eligible Skywards members who want to relax before their flight.
Luxurious airport lounge experience with Emirates
Passengers using the lounge can enjoy a selection of Thai delicacies and international cuisine. Alongside gourmet dining, travellers have access to high-speed Wi-Fi, shower facilities, and plenty of plush seating to relax.
Located on the fourth floor of the SAT-1 Terminal, the Emirates lounge is just a five-minute walk from the boarding gates, allowing passengers to transition seamlessly from relaxation to departure. Emirates was among the first airlines to relocate to the new terminal, ensuring its customers benefit from state-of-the-art airport facilities.
The unveiling of the Emirates Bangkok lounge coincides with Emirates’ 35th anniversary of operations in Thailand, marking over three decades of continuous service in the region.
Bangkok remains one of Emirates’ most important destinations, ranking as its second-largest market for premium travel. With the airline now offering more than 870 First and Business Class seats daily, the expansion of its lounge services reflects growing demand from high-end travellers flying in and out of Thailand’s busy capital. In 2024, Bangkok was officially recognised as the world’s most visited city.
The new Bangkok lounge joins Emirates’ network of 41 exclusive lounges worldwide, which includes seven at Dubai International Airport and 34 across major global destinations.
