In March 2025, Hannah Murray will be joining an exceptional group of more than 50 female founders and leaders to embark on the LET’S GOA Rickshaw Rally, an exciting and purposeful 1000km adventure from Chennai to Goa.
Organised by Emma Sayle, founder of Killing Kittens, and Francesca James, founder of Ideas Forums (which runs the Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Ideas Fest), this adventure is more than just a rally. It’s a celebration of women who are leading industries, shattering barriers, and championing change.
This diverse and accomplished group of women will navigate their way across India to raise awareness and vital funds for charities supporting women and girls’ education.
Hannah Murray has worked at Talk Radio Europe for almost twenty years, interviewing thousands of interesting people, including Jilly Cooper, Eva Longoria, Rick Stein, James Patterson, Simon Callow, and Sandi Toksvig. She is also one of the weekly contributors to ‘Good Morning Spain’, the first English-language breakfast show on Spanish TV, hosted by Nicole King, and hosts her own weekly podcast with her husband, ‘Marbella with Him & Her’.
Some of the brands led by women taking part in the challenge include GoHenry, Dr PawPaw, Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Killing Kittens, Ideas Fest, Think Tank Academy, Beyond Beautiful, and Karma Group.
As a group of passionate female founders, leaders, and trailblazers, they are setting an ambitious target: to raise £350,000. This funding will directly support charities dedicated to providing education and opportunities for girls who need it most.
Their collective effort will make a tangible impact on countless lives. By reaching their target, they will be providing not just education, but also hope, empowerment, and the tools these girls need to break free from the cycle of poverty and achieve their full potential.
Every contribution, large or small, brings them closer to this goal. Together, we can create lasting change.
They have teamed up with Ladies Circle India and Round Table India and identified three clear women and girls projects their funds will go to. They will be visiting all the projects within Chennai before the race starts. This will also allow media opportunities for sponsors to be involved with:
Building safe, functional classrooms in government-supported schools to increase enrolment and provide quality education to underserved children.
Some of the key impacts they hope to have include providing safe, weather-resistant learning environments; preventing postpartum anaemia; and empowering young, underprivileged women by providing skills and training.
The Sisterhood Group to date has raised over £1,000,000 for women’s and children’s charities and shows no signs of slowing yet, with this being their biggest group to date with 60 female founders racing 1000km from Chennai to Goa in March 2025.
