Nebraska men’s basketball hosted 2025 four-star center Leo Curtis on Sunday. This was reported by On3’s Robin Washut.
Curtis recently decommitted from Arizona State and reopened his recruitment on April 18. Texas,Washington, Indiana, and West Virginia are also involved in his recruitment.
Curtis is the 11th overall center in the 2025 class, and the top player in the class from the state of Massachusetts per the On3 rankings.
The center proved to be a valuable piece internationally. He played at Division I Iceland for the 2023-24 season, where he averaged 15.4 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, and 1.7 blocks per game. He shot 64.7% from the field that year.
Nebraska basketball has been busy in this transfer portal cycle. They have added six players from the portal, as they look to get back to the NCAA tournament. Shooting and size have been a focus in the portal.
Curtis would be another solid addition for the program and help them with size inside. This would be a later addition in the transfer portal cycle, but he could make a sizable impact.
