The picturesque town of Mojacar is set to become a hub for cinema lovers as it hosts Cine en Corto Mojacar (Short Movie), the fourth edition of the Encuentro de Cineastas Almerienses (Meeting of Almerian Filmmakers).
Taking place on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April, the event promises to celebrate local talent in the short film industry while reinforcing the town’s reputation as a cultural hotspot in the province of Almeria.
Organised with the support of the Junta de Andalucia (Andalucia Regional Government), the Diputacion de Almeria (Provincial Government of Almeria), and Mojacar Town Council, this festival showcases the creativity and skill of emerging and established filmmakers from the region. Short films, known for their ability to deliver compelling narratives in a condensed format, will take centre stage during the two-day event.
