As tulip season blooms across The Netherlands, transforming parks and fields into spectacular displays from mid-March, Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam launches three curated ‘Tulips in Bloom’ experiences.
The experiences are available until mid-May 2025, and are packages that celebrate the flower’s cultural legacy. The ‘Tulip Treats’ package (€425 for two, 3.5 hours) includes an audio tour of the Tulip Museum, exploring its historical significance, followed by tea and tulip-shaped cakes with velour-finished mousse on a buttery base, in the museum’s show garden amid four million tulips.
The ‘Tulip Treasures’ package (€649 for two, four hours) offers a grower-led museum tour and a two-course meal at Grand Café Krasnapolsky overlooking Dam Square. For nature lovers, the ‘Tulip Tableaux’ package (€1,250 for two, four hours) features a guided museum visit and a luxury picnic with Dutch delicacies such as Beemster cheese sandwiches and lobster salad, served in a private tulip field.
All packages include limousine transfers and a Bloomeffects skincare gift bag, derived from locally sourced tulips. Guests can also book the Black Tulip Radiance Facial (€175, 60 minutes) at Anantara Spa or take home Anantara Tulip bulbs, a gold-hued variety developed with local growers.
Located in central Amsterdam, the hotel blends luxury with the city’s floral heritage, offering these experiences to connect guests with the iconic tulip season. For bookings, email cg.krasnapolsky@anantara-hotels.com or visit anantara.com.
