Swansea City are poised to complete deadline-day deals for Celtic striker Adam Idah and Strasbourg left-back Ishe Samuels-Smith, while Zan Vipotnik is set to stay at the Championship club.
Swansea are also hoping to land a left-footed winger before the 19:00 BST deadline, while Wales midfielder Ollie Cooper is being lined up for a loan move to Wigan Athletic.
Republic of Ireland international Idah, 24, is to join in a deal understood to be worth an initial £6m once Celtic give the green light for the transfer to be completed.
Samuels-Smith, 19, is set to move to Wales on loan a little over a month after joining Strasbourg from Chelsea, who are linked to the French club through their BlueCo ownership.
The England Under-19 international is yet to play a senior game, but was valued at £6.5m in the deal which took him to Strasbourg.
Swansea are considering a number of wide players, with Jesurun Rak-Sakyi among the names on their list.
However, a deal for the 22-year-old Crystal Palace player looks unlikely as he is attracting interest from a number of clubs including Rangers, Celtic and Coventry City.
Swansea, meanwhile, look set to hold on to Vipotnik despite strong suggestions that the Slovenia international would be sold in this window.
There had been interest from Europe in Vipotnik, but Swansea now seem set to hold on to the 23-year-old despite the imminent arrival of Idah.
Vipotnik has just enjoyed his best week since joining the Swans in the summer of 2024, scoring three goals in the club’s past three games.
But Cooper is in line to depart having made only one appearance so far this season.
Sheehan has told the 25-year-old it is his choice whether to stay at Swansea or move in search of regular football, and League One Wigan have emerged as favourites for his signature.
Joel Cotterill could also head out on loan amid interest from Bristol Rovers, while Josh Ginnelly is another player Swansea are willing to offload.
